One of the best experiences

20160817_163454My wife and I visited a place in Sharon, Pa for an early anniversary. That place was called Buhl Mansion Guesthouse and Spa. Let me just tell you, I thought I had been transported to the land of fantasy where all things were just right all the time. I can’t really tell you a bad thing about our experience there. The level of service we received was over the top excellent!

We arrived and Anthony (our personal executive concierge-“that’s how we felt”) greeted us to acquire our bags to take them to our room. We were not ready for this when we pulled up to the door as this experience was new to us. He was politely adamant that he handle our bags while someone else parked the car. We were checked in and given the keys and a tour of the establishment. When he was finished he informed us that the “Castle was ours”. We were free to roam the grounds, check out the other room (that were not occupied) and take a few of pictures of the place. When we arrived back to our room a turn down service had been provided. There was complementary champagne, fruit and cheeses for our consumption. There was a personalized note welcoming us to Buhl Mansion and that they hoped our stay would be enjoyed.20160817_190130

Friendly, accommodating, meeting our needs, engaging are all words that describe the experience at Buhl Mansion. It was like they knew our needs before we even arrived. Anything we asked for, Anthony was about making it happen for us. He gave us suggestions for places for dinner and he even offered to pick us up as there would have been a steep hill to walk back up with stuffed bellies. We did decide to drive. When he knew that we were going to drive he promptly got our car and opened both doors so that we could get in (he even closed them).

We only stayed for one night. The time we spent there was above amazing.

All of the things that we talk about when we mention what customer service should be. The Buhl Mansion got it right on the first attempt. They understand that customer service is not a department it is a culture, a way of life. If you ever have the chance to visit Sharon, Pa. Please be sure to set aside some time to book a room at the Buhl Mansion so that you too can experience what it is like to be transported to a world where everything is right and you are truly treated as a valued customer.
